After learning about basketball's best female players, play a little one-on-one and race others in a dribbling contest on the indoor courts. Downtown, the Knoxville Museum of Art showcases the best of eastern Tennessee's 20th- and 21st-century artists. The collections here range from abstract paintings to mixed media collages and mobiles. On sultry summer days, guests of our hotels in Knoxville will be tempted to join the city's kids splashing in the Market Square fountain spray in the heart of downtown. Most visitors to this central square opt to sit beneath shaded verandas sipping iced sweet tea and dining on barbecued pulled-pork sandwiches or chicken-fried steak. Market Square antiques shops draw in window-shoppers with 19th-century silver sets and primitive Southern crafts, while boutiques go modern with chunky costume jewelry and tailored leather jackets. After hours, enjoy a cool evening breeze while sampling a glass of Tennessee whiskey.

Stay at our Holiday Inn Express hotels in Knoxville to discover the changing colors of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The hazy mountain peaks bloom red and pink with rhododendrons in spring and blaze brilliant orange during autumn. Just an hour's drive from our Knoxville hotels, this park's hiking trails and driving tour through original old-growth forest lead to sweeping vistas of green mountains and purple sunsets.

Really nice place

A bit off the beaten path but worth it. The overall facility was very nice however I couldn't get the tv to work properly and the internet would not allow me to use anything but google--no safari, [More] firefox or even yahoo. I just gave up and read a book and went to sleep. The breakfast was pretty sorry. I don't know what the meat selection was if any since there was none available when I was eating. [Less]

Very nice rooms and friendly staff with great service

This was our second stay at the Staybridge suites in Knoxville Oak Ridge, and the new decor is beautiful. The suites are very nice for a family and we had one that featured two bedrooms with a [More] common living room and kitchen. We enjoyed it very much, and I never heard my family in the other bedroom. I enjoyed the breakfast since many hotels do not offer this amenity any longer. I felt that it was a good value for my money. the only change I would recommend is more tables/seating for the breakfast time. Need more tables for larger groups (over 4 people). [Less]

Very impressed by the personal attention given to us. We received a phone call about our stay. There was a slight problem with the reservation but they handled the situation quite well. The [More] hotel was a great place to stay! Would highly recommend! [Less]
