We have stayed here several times in the past. However it has been a few years since our last stay, but it is still a great place to stop especially if you are headed east. You get thru Knoxville
and the next morning you do not have to contend with the traffic. Service is great! We were able to advice on where to eat, because some things have changed and the restaurant we used to go to was no longer there. The place that was recommended was excellent. The service was great and the food was even better. The next morning the breakfast area attendant was wonderful. She had a crowd of coffee drinkers and she was Jill on the spot keeping the coffee dispensers full.
The only problem we had was the temperature in the room. It took a while but I was finally able to get the room temperature cool enough for us to sleep comfortably. Another great experience in Strawberry Plains. [Less]
