I travel all over Texas on business and I try to always stay at this hotel when I go to Dallas on business. They always recognize my IHG status when I check in and put me on a high floor at least a
little way from the elevator - my IHG profile asks to be away from the elevator because I try to take the stairs instead.
I left one of my favorite pairs of short boots at the hotel and the housekeeping staff found them and front desk staff arranged to get them back to me. This goes above and beyond what some hotels would do.
The breakfast is NOT typical HI fare, so plan a little extra time to enjoy. It is a buffet with staff assisting to make everything run smoothly. During one of my stays, when I was running behind on the last morning, one of the wonderful servers I had gotten to know over the week packed me two muffins and a cup of coffee to-go in what seemed like less than a minute. They might be faster or nicer to me because I tip better before I've had my second cup of coffee on the road and wake up completely. Maybe they are just great to everyone. I wouldn't chance it and risk not having the coffee in my hand right away.
My rooms have been clean, the beds comfy and the noise in the hall not loud enough to hear in the bed. I only had one experience when I could hear noise from an adjoining room; they were just really loud people. I asked about it at the desk and they told me the people were only staying one night. I decided not to move and it was quiet the rest of the week. [Less]
