Featured Irving Hotels

Make yourself at home in our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Irving, a suburb of Dallas, Texas. In no time you'll be investigating the assassination of John F. Kennedy, cheering local cowboys in a rodeo and kicking up your heels at Gilley's Dallas.

Our Irving hotels are a short drive from the Dallas Arts District. Life-like Rodin nudes, textured Giacometti busts and abstract Miró totems fill the Nasher Sculpture Museum. Across the street, the Dallas Museum of Art displays statues of Maya and Aztec gods and colorful impressionistic paintings by European masters van Gogh and Cézanne. In the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, follow a minute-by-minute account of November 22, 1963, when Lee Harvey Oswald shot President John F. Kennedy. The southeast-facing window where Oswald crouched with his rifle is preserved behind glass.

The original Neiman Marcus store still sells luxury goods on Main Street, but the city's serious shoppers prefer Uptown's McKinney Avenue, lined with antiques shops, art galleries and inviting cafes. Local Western wear stores can outfit guests of our Irving hotels in fine silver belt buckles and hand-stitched cowboy boots fit for the Gilley's Dallas dance floor. Fill up on thick sirloin steak or a barbecue brisket dinner before sashaying over to Gilley's, where you'll two-step to twangy country guitar. Check the calendar beforehand-big-ticket rock shows also play to the Gilley's crowd.

Book our Holiday Inn Express hotels in Irving to take in major Dallas sporting events. The Dallas Cowboys play at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, a short drive from our Irving hotels. Home game tickets are hard to come by, but you can tour the stadium to toss a few passes on the field. Arlington is also home to the Texas Rangers baseball team. Or, holler for your favorite cowboy at the Mesquite Championship Rodeo.

Surprisingly Wonderful
By Cummings
We chose this hotel because if the close proximity to Ritchie Bros Auction where my husband had business. From the name I expected just the basics but we were pleasantly surprised by all the [More] amenities and accommodations of more high end hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful. Alex suggested a great restaurant, The Cotton Patch and gave us walking directions which turned out to be perfect for us. The breakfast had a nice variety and was a welcome delicious treat in the morning. Next auction purchase we will without doubt being staying here again. [Less]

Great Relaxing Stay!
Have stayed at this hotel before and the wonderful stay from the past was repeated during this visit. Love the exercise room and the breakfast meeting room was nicely appointed and kept stocked and [More] tidy. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I have recommended this property to others. [Less]
Convenient location for Dallas area and DFW; great staff
In town to see U2 at ATT Stadium; got to airport and picked up by very friendly, welcoming shuttle driver. Even though I arrived before 10 AM, I could check in and start my free day of [More] sightseeing. Used the Grab n Go feature for a snack supper Thursday night (very convenient and not overpriced). Friday AM ate breakfast in the dining room--good food and reasonably priced for a full breakfast; enjoyed the pool--nice and clean. After concert Friday, got another good night's sleep and shuttled back to airport Saturday AM. Room was very clean, all the staff were quite helpful and friendly. It's an easy drive to DFW and if you're not hung up on "extras", I'd recommend this hotel. It's relatively small and quiet (lots of American Airlines staff/crews here) and it was a relaxing getaway.
