Friendly staff and great night sleep

We came in late and the front desk receptionist was warm and welcoming. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've experienced. The added selection of pillows on each bed ("soft" or "firm") added [More] to the restful sleep. The complimentary breakfast offered a good selection of food to satisfy all of our picky eaters. Having a salt water pool was another bonus for our family's stay. [Less]

My stay was very nice. I understand this conference was suppose to be in Roanoke, VA; however, someone forgot to make reservations. Your staff stepped up and made our stay perfect. We did not [More] have to leave your facility for ANY REASON. [Less]

Nice place
By Gail22
We enjoyed our stay at the Lynchburg Downtown Holiday Inn and would definitely recommend it. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The only problem was that much of [More] downtown is a construction zone. We were excited to be downtown, hoping to be able to walk around and see the city, but it was just too difficult to get around. The Holiday Inn was certainly not at fault, and thanks to the parking garage, we were able to get to and from our car without having to walk through the mess. Clearly, much work is being done to make downtown nicer; it was just unfortunate timing. We plan to return in a couple of years to see the progress! [Less]
