We had made our reservation by phone and hour or two before our arrival at hotel. On our check in the desk clerk said we had room 229.
I went back to the car to get my wife, and over night bags and
walking past the desk clerk noticed my wife has a very hard time walking. She called me back over to the desk and said she would like to change our room assignment from 229 ( room at end of hallway) to a room closer to the elevator. Which she did, what a wonderful, caring and perceptive thing to do. A simple alert and caring desk clerk made our day and our stay more enjoyable. I wish I would have got her name at the time, but I did not. I would recommend her for employee of the year. [Less]
