My expectations of hotels for business travel are modest: quiet clean room, comfortable bed, adequate hot water, working plumbing, fast reliable internet. Candlewood Suites meets most of these.
However, a persistent problem this trip was the noise of the refrigerator in the suite. The cycling of the refrigerator and the occasional noise of the icemaker was very disruptive during the night. Further, the heating/cooling unit was also unusually loud, and the toilet handle had to be rattled to stop the toilet from running post-flush. These various noise-makers conspired to make sleeping difficult. As they say, "there is nothing like a good night's sleep, and that was nothing like a good night's sleep..." I have stayed here often, and will probably stay again, but will be more assertive about insisting on a room where the mechanicals and plumbing are in good order. [Less]
