Great value
By mjc63
Aside from being a great value financially, it was easy to set up an early check in and late checkout. Megan the sesk manager was terrific. There was a wedding onsite, and they made sure our rooms [More] were far from the. Fray! [Less]
Good quality - older hotel
By jgood56
Before booking at Crowne Plaza, I read several reviews including many that gave the impression of a hotel in bad need of a renovation. I took a chance anyway and I'm glad I did! I got great service [More] and a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed for a great price compared to other local hotels. The honest truth is that the hotel is dated and could probably use an update. If you look close, you can see places where tile is cracked or there are marks on walls from chairs being leaned back or just old, worn looking furniture. However, that's only a problem if aesthetics are extremely important to you. Otherwise, it's a great place to spend a night or a weekend. [Less]

Spacious and clean room with accommodating staff
By JoMo
The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The young man who checked us in went out of his way to offer suggestions for additional activities he felt my younger son would like [More] to give him some time since we were in town for parent orientation at UW Madison for my older son. When we got to our room the first thing we noticed was how very clean it was and it quickly passed my quirky hotel room inspection test for cleanliness. The bed was not too hard and not too soft; it was just right. My head seemed to fit into a perfect cradle in the pillows when I laid down as I was soon the very first one to fall asleep. I woke up very refreshed and proclaimed it was the best night's sleep I had gotten in a,long time. [Less]
Perfect Professional and Plenty
By JillB
This was my third time at this hotel. Room was perfect. Staff are professional. Plenty of perks. The staff go beyond "just a job." I could tell they enjoy their work and the customer service was [More] outstanding. They made checking in easy. Offered wonder ful recommendations for dinner. Always sharing a smile. Perks included breakfast, loved the large crisp apples and sweet, fresh oranges. Shuttle was a life saver for this country gal. The room was comfortable and a much needed oasis after a long day of meetings. [Less]
