The Beatles got their start in this city, and the interactive Beatles Story on Albert Dock is a hands-on way to learn about the lads from Liverpool. Fans should also check out the Magical Mystery Tour, a bus exploration of significant Fab Four sites such as Penny Lane and John Lennon's childhood home. You can buy tickets at the Magical Mystery Tour Ticket Office on the dock.

Taking a Mersey Ferries cruise gives you excellent views of the waterfront, a designated UNESCO World Heritage site. You can board at Pier Head Ferry Terminal, a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The Three Graces, comprised of the Cunard Building, the Royal Liver Building and the Port of Liverpool Building, are early-20th-century landmarks which anchor the famous Liverpool skyline.

If you’re an art lover, the Tate Liverpool, three minutes' walk from the hotel, is unmissable. It has a large collection international modern and contemporary art as well as rotating special exhibitions. If you prefer football, make sure to take a tour of Anfield, home of Liverpool Football Club. It’s only 20 minutes’ drive from the hotel.

Albert Dock is brimming with restaurants, clubs, comedy shows and bars; spending an evening under the glowing lights of the pier is the best way to experience buzzing Liverpool nightlife.
