London’s museum quarter in South Kensington is a 10-minute Tube ride from the hotel. The Victoria & Albert Museum has one of the world’s largest collections of design and decorative arts. The Science Museum is a family favourite, as is the Natural History Museum, which has specimens dating back to pre-historic times. Entry to the permanent collections at all three museums is free.
Near the hotel, Hyde Park is one of the largest green spaces in the city, offering jogging paths, cycling tracks and bicycle rental points. The park is also home to the Serpentine Gallery, which showcases contemporary art. Summertime concerts, pedal boats on the Serpentine lake and the Winter Wonderland fair mean that Hyde Park is a popular destination all year round.

London’s West End is one of the world’s best-known theatre districts, and the hotel's location makes it easy to take in a musical or a play. The Victoria Palace and Apollo Victoria theatres are within easy walking distance. Other West End theatres and Leicester Square are just a short Tube ride away. Discount tickets for current theatre productions are often available on the day.
A boat trip down the River Thames is one of the most relaxing ways to see the city. Boats depart from Millbank Millennium Pier, opposite Tate Britain, a 15-minute walk from the hotel. They run to the London Eye and Tate Modern on the South Bank, then further down the river to Canary Wharf and the Royal Observatory at Greenwich. Some boats go all the way to The O2 if you want to catch a concert.
