The hotel is in a renovated terrace so I understand the room is smaller than normal and I can live without air-con for one night and the address was both close to my conference and Victoria station so easy to connect with the rest of London.
There was a rather odd smell though in my room and I think someone was unwell at some point and the smell was still rather strong.
Overall though, and despite the smell, I had a decent night's sleep so no real complaints.

Having booked this hotel because it was one of the few Holiday Inn hotels available and close to the Centre, I was very disappointed. Staff was friendly when I arrived, but getting up with the lift to Floor 5 took quite some time: the lift is extremely slow. The room was small what was to be expected but the carpet and the chair had quite a number of spots. Electricity outlets were scarce, lighting at the bedside was insufficient for reading.
Breakfast was very modest to put it mildly.
Overall, the hotel is not at all worth the price.

The hotel was in a very convenient location for our requirements (Victoria Palace for Billy Elliot and Vauxhall for Trains to Twickenham). Check-in was easy and despite arriving early they managed to get us into one of our rooms. The rooms were small (but what you expect for London and the Price) and a tad warm with a wall mounted fan to cool the room (the windows open, but the road can be noisy out front). Breakfast the next day was better than we expected and set us up nicely for the day.
