My stay during layover at Delhi Airport

I reserved a room at this hotel since I had a long time between my International and Domestic flights and I needed somewhere to freshen up in-between flights. I found the experience to be comforting and personal. A lady from the hotel came to pick me up from International Arrivals, helped to re-check my baggage for my next flight and got me as far as my hotel room. The room itself was excellet and contained many of the amenties that you would expect from an Holiday Inn Express property. The in-house restaurant was great and the food wasn't too excessively priced. Overall if you have a long layover in Delhi airport I most recommend you to use this hotel inside the airport itself especially since this saves you the hassle of exiting the airport.

Transit stay at Delhi Airport

I highly recommend this hotel if you are transiting through Delhi airport from an international flight to a domestic connection overnight. We were greeted at the hotel desk by Nawab Shah after we exited customs and from there Mr Shah took us through various checkpoints to the hotel room within a few minutes. He also ensured that breakfast was delivered to the room early since we had leave before breakfast hours. We had a similar experience the next morning going from the hotel to the security checkpoint for our domestic flight. I will be seeking out Mr Shah the next time I am transiting through this airport!

Disappointed

The bathroom sink faucet was broken and the water was spilling all over. The water service stopped and had to walk to a facility elsewhere to use a bathroom for a shower and refreshing. Therefore, I was not able to relax. So much time was lost due to the inconvenience. Did not get any sleep, although the purpose of getting the room was to be able to sleep. However, the welcome staff, the attending staff, and the departure staff were extremely empathetic and helpful.

Unpleasant experience

Hello Team,
My confirmation number for this booking was - 29098994. Usually i never write feedback but i have to write this- this was a corporate travel and i use IHG brand to stay in United states with very good satisfaction. Considering staying experience is not same everywhere i have had a terrible experience, which i want to highlight to IHG management to look at, here are these-
a) i reached to new delhi airport for booking and there was no one available at the desk, an unattended phone was kept without any messages on what to do. i asked security guards on what to do, they asked me to call.

b) when i called they said the staff will come down and talk to you, it took 30 min for them to come

c) When i reached to reception , there was barely a working wifi, they gave me a hotspot to book a reservation. I did have a holiday inn reservation in a different location which i wanted to cancel and book at this location. The receptionist was not able to book my reservation as i was using corporate card, she wasn't even aware of what are these. i had to book by my own.

d) i paid around amount more than 5 star hotel cost, and excepted a better room, they provided me a room# 220, i must say, this would be a cheaper standard type hotel. We started shivering when the heat was on. upon calling them , they insisted to turn off the AC/Heat, thats was their solution.

e) TV without remote, washroom was terrible. toilet paper had hardly any paper left and it keep falling down. No hot water, room had to proper switching.

f) I could still stay in this accommodation without complaining but here is the main thing- the reception staff are so bad behaved, they can't even greet. if anyone come to them, they wouldn't even ask what are we looking for unless we started asking something.
many a times i thank them for the service but they never even greet back saying welcome. It was so weird and my checkout experience was even worse, they were making it so confusing. ( the attended staff name is NAGINDER) . I even found 2-3 receptionist arguing together in front of customers.

Lastly the good thing was the breakfast. It was so good and i would appreciate that.

Clean Room and Convenient

There is no staff at reception throughout the stay. Only restaurant tender helped. Also there was no one at phone and no one to receive despite their commitment. Their customer service is really bad and they treat customers even with prior bookings and person non grata.

Exceeded expectations

We had an amazing stay at the holiday inn airport hotel. We stayed in domesting wing. We arrived from montreal and had an overnight layover before our final destination (hyderabad). We had 8 big bags that air vistara would not checkin earlier. Holiday inn folks held the bags in their storage space instead of taking all the bags to the hotel room. The checkin process was a breeze. I was greeted as an IHG member. Kudos to harish and siddharth. We requested for some water bottles and nawab immediately provided them. We ordered room service for dinner and all the dishes were yummy. Thanks to sunil from inroom fining. Breakfest buffet had an amazing spread and the service was top notch!!. Overall my stay was perfect!!!.

Clean room to relax while in transit

I like that room was clean. However the plug points in room weren't working, only the bathroom plugs were working.
Being a gold member usually they give welcome points or some snack/gift, but this holiday inn didn't offer anything.

Nice stay during transit

The hotel stay is nice.
But the way to the hotel is very complicated and it definitively requires a hotel staff to guide us. But luckily the staff answers my call and comes pick me up fast in midnight.
All the staff are polite and helpful. Room is good.
