Very clean and well-maintained hotel

We always stay at the Holiday inn and we want a staycation. Great location, modern rooms, very clean with all the amenities that we need... Did I mention how comfortable the beds are?

The lobby, elevator, and room were well furnished and very comfortable. With the exception of the very loud train nearby, it was an excellent stay.

They put a third window up that does not open. So no fresh air
They kept the hallway at 40 degrees so if you went to the lobby you had to bundle up.
Bathroom was dirty.
Breakfast was no edible.

Nothing but a bunch of busy bodies with there nose all up in our business. Advising us not to leave our room. Charging me for my service dog. And continually hassling us about doing laundry or for that matter for stepping out of our room. Completely rude and arrogant.

This hotel is a convenient place for us to be near family when visiting.
We like that our little dog is welcome. The bathroom is always very clean, as is the rest if the room. Its really annoying to have to ask for toilet paper. I have checked in several tines this year and there is never even a backup TP. One time I checked in and there was only
half a roll. They said it was because of covid and people were hoarding it. Now, the only ones hoarding TP is Holiday Inn Express and Suites, Summer. Last time I checked in, I asked the front desk guy for 2 extra TP, since we were staying 4 days. He said they always leave a backup, which I feel he lied to me and knows darn well they
don't leave a backup. He gave me one TP and I had to go beg more TP from the daytime front desk staff. Seriously, loosen up with the TP. We may be moving next door .

Overall a very warm and accommodating staff. The fact we have been in the hotel with animals and they have been calm with us and kept a very clean property speaks volumes when other hotels have not been as friendly. The only downside were the breakfast choices. I have never been so let down with a holiday inn breakfast before in my life. They could do better even in this current pandemic environment..

We only stayed one night and left before breakfast time so we could not sample breakfast. Rooms are modern and clean, fridge, micro and Kurig coffee machine in the room all worked well.

Great location in a quiet area. I enjoy staying at this Holiday Inn Express when I visit my son and his family who live in Sumner, WA. I have stayed there every month or so for more than a year. I really enjoy it! The breakfasts are wonderful except more limited now due to Covid. I really miss the Cinnabon cinnamon rolls and I'm hoping they will bring them back soon! :)
