Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent convenience. I make quarterly visits to Baltimore's Johns Hopkins complex. The Holiday Inn Expresses' services are dependable. The staff is very cordial and welcoming. The breakfast menu and the ambiance of the breakfast area was good despite the incomplete renovation. I use the shuttle and found the drivers knowledgeable, attentive and professional. May 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Value for a Downtown Hotel This property is well located, within walking distance of the stadiums and the Inner Harbour. The hot breakfast offers varied options including fresh fruit in addition to hot and cold items. Overall, the breakfast experience was good and there are enough tables to accommodate the guests. The only negatives were that the hotel was under renovation. Hence, the lobby area was not as attractive as it will be when completed and check-in took place in an office behind the front desk. If there was someone else checking in you needed to wait in the hall. The renovations started promptly at 8:00 am and it was quite noisy in the bedroom. When entering through the back parking lot, it would appear at first glance that this was not the best of neighbourhoods. Close to the bus station but beside the casino, there would be people hanging around the street from which you enter the parking lot. That being said, I did not feel overly unsafe, Overall, my stay was fine and the will be even better when the renovations are completed. May 19, 2015

I think they need to do a better job with the renovations and organizing where they put the guests...the hallway I was in was getting a complete makeover and was quite messy! May 12, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Notify that renovations are in progress I use Holiday Inn Exclusively for business. I have always found them to meet or exceed my needs. However, three significant items affected my stay as the Holiday Inn Express Baltimore Stadium. First, a major interior and exterior renovations was ongoing. I was not informed but saw it as I drove onto the property. Dust was everywhere. Secondly, at 10:30pm my first even, a loud sound from a power plant lasted until 2:00am the next morning. Sleeping was sparse and mostly unachievable. Finally, on my last night, a bus load of young people occupied the same floor I lived on and ran the halls for an entire hour before their chaperones interceded. I have used this hotel before and found the service and stay very good, but my last stay May 5 and 6, 2015 was an awful experience. May 11, 2015
