There was a mis communication which became apparent when I checked in but that was sorted out (more than fairly) without any trouble at all. Lovely clean room; comfy bed; internet worked fine but was just a little slow at one point during the evening; TV and everything in the room was fine; breakfast was very simple, very basic, completely self service but more than adequate to set you up for the day ahead. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff, Location brilliant! Prime location opposite temple meads, especially as i was traveling back and forth from Swindon. Room was tidy and comfortable and staff were very helpful. Quieter than id have ever expected being Bristol city centre. Pleasant chaps on reception during check in, ever so helpful! The young lads on the late night shift were also great and could not help enough. will be sure to return very soon. RH February 6, 2016

The staff were very welcoming and phoned our room to check all was ok. My daughters in the room next door asked to move as there was a slight smell in their room and this was dealt with efficiently. The lady on reception suggested a good quiet time for breakfast as we had a small child with us. Location excellent for railway station, restaurants 10 mins walk away February 4, 2016

Victorija at check in desk was excellent in manner and dealt with my room issues ( I found the hygiene and cleanliness standard of the bathroom to be compromised. I could see the liquid marks on toilet seat etc) she immediately and changed my room and was genuinely apologetic Overall nice comfortable stay. February 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Its so nice to go to a hotel and be greeted by happy staff I have to be totally honest I try and stay Holiday Inn brand properties if I can due to me liking them as a brand and the Priority Club rewards scheme. I have not on the other hand stayed in a Holiday Inn Express for over 10 years and I felt that they were like the lower end element of the group. How wrong was I!! Firstly the hotel in question was well maintained and the rooms were very nice and comfortable and the breakfast was a good, it was buffet style and offered hot food which I felt was good as some buffets can be just warm. The creme dela creme with this hotel was "The Staff" I have been to a number of hotels and this particular property gave me the warmest of welcomes and were so help full during the stay. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Value for Money Location was excellent, staff were friendly. Service at the bar at times was slow and limited drinks choice. No dinner menu only a pizza menu for the evenings. Issue with window in the room - wouldn't close properly and we found the room quite small for a double room. Would stay here again though, it was very handy to the city centre. February 3, 2016
