My stay was generally fine other than the mildew smell of the bathroom, the large stain on the carpet, and the lack of A/C. There is no parking. The breakfast is powdered eggs and generally inedible unless you're ok with cold cereal and no protein.

My daughters and I took a mini break in the Cotswolds this Easter and stayed, for the first time, in a Holiday Inn. From the moment we made the booking, we were impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the way in which they made every effort to help with our enquiries. On arrival, we were greeted warmly and courteously. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the shower room! Breakfast was as you would expect from 'self service' but there was plenty of choice and everything was replenished very efficiently. The bar offered a lovely light meal one evening when we returned late from our travels and were too tired to go into Cheltenham! We will definitely choose a Holiday Inn again. We felt safe, warm and comfortable.

We stayed in room 242 on a Sat night and would not recommend the Holiday Inn in Cheltenham after this experience, which is disappointing as Bristol and Brighton were excellent!
Room 242 was situated facing the car park and we heard traffic and drunk people all through the night which kept us awake, along with the giggly girls next door. We called reception after being kept awake by the girls for an hour and although the receptionist asked them to be quiet this didn't last long. Overall we hardly slept and couldn't wait to get home.
I was looking forward to a nice english breakfast only to be disappointed to find the hot section consisted of sausage, scrambled egg and beans.
I would however compliment the receptionist who worked the morning shifts as when we arrived he provided us a list of shops/ restaurants that offer discounts, and as we were leaving he was very understanding when we explained we did not enjoy our stay

This hotel is in a very central location. Easy access to shops, restaurants and pubs. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean and adequate for a short break. Buffet breakfast plentiful

I felt disappointed by the cooked breakfast, which was all lacking in choice and not very freshly prepared.
The room was fine and clean, but the lighting was pretty dim.
