Stay was OK but staff customer services could have been better. After arrival front desk didn't discussed anything on the welcome drink for gold member. I volunteer requested to have a drink. I have requested room upgrade being part of IHG reward club. First he told there is no policy for any room upgrade !!! when I highlighted my previous experience with same brand hotel then immediately said no room available for upgrade without properly checking on the system. These are all OK but shower and wash basin taps are not working properly. Somehow managed and left message about the problem when I checked out. Not good experience as frequent member. This is second bad experience and need to think to visit again

Booked in for three nights and found the location just perfect for the Bus Station, Shopping and theatres. We were allocated room 273 and must congratulate the front desk for providing us with a room that was free from outside noise so hence three peacefull nights sleep. The room was kept lovely and clean. The security was first class having to use the room key to activate the stairway door and the lift. The breakfast was fine and staff very helpful. Would definitely return again.

I've stayed at a lot of Hotels and the warm welcome my Wife and I received at a hotel when we arrived has been by far the best we have ever received.
The gentlemen at the reception desk graciously welcomed us to the hotel and with his friendly chat quickly established it was my birthday. After this I felt the team went out their way to make our stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.
It was great to feel as if the staff really appreciated us choosing the hotel and for that the Holiday Inn Express Glasgow - City Centre Theatreland will be our hotel of choice the next time we're visiting Glasgow.
Thanks to everyone at the hotel.
