The location is convenient and facilities very nice. I need a quiet room and this was. There was construction going on right outside my window and it was barely audible. 19 February 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel near NRG Stadium My daughter had a gymnastics meet across the street at NRG stadium. This was a perfect location for us to get a good night's sleep, get a quick bite to eat then head to the competition. Great room. Overall nice experience. 16 February 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Desperate need of an update Stayed here on a reward stay. Since I didn't arrive until evening, I was stuck with an accessible room. The shower stall was very inconvenient and the monstrous jetted tub next to the bed was an eyesore. All in all this property is not up to the usual standard that I have come to expect form HIE. The furnishings were very worn and the decor was dated. The peeling wall paper and worn appearance of the room were not welcoming. On a positive note, the breakfast choices were better than some HIEs and the staff was friendly. 16 February 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Relatively good experience But I wasn't greeted as a rewards member nor do I know if the points were added to my account (I haven't had a moment to check the account#. We were there, as many if not most of the guests of this hotel# so support a loved one going through cncer treatments at MD Anderson. The clerk who checked us in was almost surly, didn't greet me as a rewards member and didn't ask how I wanted my bonus reward for that stay? I had tried to extend my stay online and was unable to. I asked at the desk the next morning and again #different person) the response was almost rude. Rather than just say, Sorry, we are booked, I was told that she was already juggling several different guest who needed additional accomodations. No suggestions were offered #since I"m in a hotel, presumably I don't know the other hotels in the area). The staff was disappointing. 16 February 2015

Upon arrival and throughout the stay every question was answered and every request was handled with the utmost of professionalism and real concern for the guest. It was a most pleasant experience and one I would certainly look forward to repeating at this facility. 10 February 2015
