Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel, overall good stay. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Pembroke Pines for 5 nights on a vacation visit to the area. The hotel is nice and overall the staff was very pleasant. My sleeping room was clean and quiet. All the rooms are mini-suites, which makes it nice as these have more space than a normal hotel room. The only minor issues I had were 1) that the breakfast selections were quite mediocre. I realize that complimentary breakfasts have limited variety, but I've had much better selections at other comparable chain hotels. One particular selection that I recall was their 'omelets'. They were pre-packaged versions of eggs, folded over with a few ingredients in the middle. They were not very tasty at all and the edges were hard. And, 2) the Wi-Fi signal around the pool area was very weak. April 7, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unprofessional lacking basic custumer service skill Our business has had nothing but trouble trying to use this hotel. Every single time we attempt to do business with them, they either lose our reservation info, and also our business information. The time proven rule " The customer is always right " has no bearing in the way that they treat us every time we try to patronize this business . On this particular stay, the Holiday Inn Express employee mistakingly reserved our room for one extra night and refused to acknowledge her mistake. They ended up charging us an extra night, stating that we did not show up when we were supposed to. So we were charged the full price for that night stay even though we did not ask to reserve it for that night. The front desk attendant was highly unprofessional and the manager on duty lacked the basic people skills that it takes to fill that role. We were in essence told that we were lying about the reservation. I would not in good conscience recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. We will no longer try to force our patronage on this poorly run establishment. March 25, 2016
