I stayed at this hotel overnight due to the closeness to the Allstate Arena.
I was by myself with a three year old and checked in between 6 and 6:30pm. So imagine my surprise when I go into my room and it was never made up, towels on the floor, bed unmade and tip still on the night stand.
So, back down to the lobby I go tugging along my Three year old and luggage.
Staff was nice and placed me in a suite which was nice, but I just wished they would turn on the water every so often because when I did it ran a nice yellow color.
Their "heated" pool was not "heated" and freezing cold, so my daughter and I stayed in the water a whole 5 minutes which stunk.
The next morning, we went to the "free" breakfast. Thank God it was free because all it gave me was an upset stomach the rest of the weekend.
Gross Eggs and Sausage that was cold and the best part was the roll that I bit into and had a nice piece of hair inside it. It may be a thought, but Hair Nets should be required by their staff.

This is a top-notch property. The rooms are quiet, well equipped, if not just a bit dated. The furniture shows some wear and outlets are low and not as numerous as some of the newer properties. The bathrooms are spacious with excellent, high-mounted shower heads and plush towels. Bedding and pillows are luxurious and over-the-top comfortable. The wi-fi signal was strong and fast. The TV was huge and there were a number of great channels.
Breakfast was delicious, well-prepared and a wide selection of items to choose from with plenty of seating available.
The staff is the jewel here, attentive, knowledgeable and eager to help.
