Great accommodation and parking facilities for a weekend away.
Delayed on the way back and the hotel were more than helpful in terms of additional parking.
Shuttle bus a great way to get to the airport

On arrival I was disappointed to be told that no food is served after 10pm, so if you are planning to arrive late or circumstamces mean you arrive late bear this in mind. Fortunately, the hotel is very close to a M&S Food/BP Garage and a McDonalds! Adequate for my needs. Close to airport which is the biggest point in its favour. WiFi is ok but I found 4G/3G reception was poor. I'd recommend staying here only because of its location,.

We arrived in the early hours to the 24th June, Lifts didn't work, no room cards, no staff in the reception or bar. When we eventually checked in I was given room 326, when we got there it was occupied, the guy that took us there to told us to wait in the corridor and said he would go to reception and arrange another room. He did not come back, 15 mins later we went back to reception to find this guy happily behind the counter in blatant ignorance of our situation. We eventually were allocated 201, being told the room door will be left open as they were taking someone else to a different floor. We got to that room which was in pitch dark, so back to reception to get a key. when I got there I was interrogated as to why there was no key. Getting a bit irate by then I was quite blunt pointing out that having never been issued with a key how was I expected to have one. So accompanied back to the room to watch a piece of folded up card being jammed into the key slot. So after arrival at 1am we eventually got to a room at 2am. The following morning we were greeted with cold beans, inferior quality scrambled eggs and extremely salty sausages. I witnessed the following morning some poor customer care of one Italian guest in particular. So what a poor example of visitor treatment and this definitely wins the worst holiday inn award anywhere in my view

Stayed before flight out of stansted. Room clean and tidy and hotel staff excellent. Left car at hotel as part of package. Transfer to airport via shuttle bus.

I expect a hotel to be comfortable and when I ask for a 'quiet room' to be given a 'quiet room' - not any old room that comes up on your 'systems' I want a room where the heating works and where there is not loads of road noise.
Nice if all lifts work.
Helps, when you complain at check out, your not asked if you would like two free soft drinks?
