A jug of artesian well water from Prattville!

Prattville is known as "The Fountain City" because of its numerous artesian wells. Many of these wells were capped or ceased to flow when efforts were made to move them. However, many wells still produce gallons of sweet, free-flowing clear water daily. Take a short drive to Alabama's state capital, Montgomery, for the Rosa Parks Museum and extensive Civil Rights Exhibits.

Visit the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill and enjoy one of three beautiful courses located along the scenic Alabama River. Attend a Montgomery Biscuits baseball game at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium.
