Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed experience for College tour. I am a rewards member and always stay with Holiday Inn and always enjoy my stay. I picked this hotel because it was close to my daughter College tour of the campus. I was disappointed with the service of this hotel. Every vending machine on every floor was not working. The breakfast the next morning had very limited food out and was being hoarded by a transient. The transient was hoarding the food while the employee just stood there and ignored the situation. Every hotel guest stood there in shock while nothing was done. October 2, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Front Desk at Check-in We checked in very late and specifically asked for a room with 2 queen beds. The front desk checked us in and when we got to the room found that there were only full sized beds in the room. We had 4 adults and found this to be very uncomfortable. Had we known that there were only full size beds, we would have chosen a different hotel. By the time we got to our room with our bags it was very late and we were too tired to mess with finding a different hotel. September 30, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff and hotel but watch out! My experience at this location is par with other IHG hotels. You know what to expect in the way of price, cleanliness and rooms. Its does a great job in that respect. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. However, don't find out like I did, via the Albuquerque Police Department that the hotel parking lot is experiencing a rash of vehicle break- ins every weekend (yes, EVERY weekend) That info needs to go out front, before you lock up your car. Take everything that you don't want to lose inside with you. The security cameras in the back are non existent, so park close to the front, haul your stuff inside and set those alarms. Would have stayed there the same had I known this but would have prepared differently. Will stay in a different hotel next time, perhaps one with a perimeter fence (say, like the hotels across the street) and with extensive CCTV coverage. September 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Superb staff, convenient location, spacious room, fabulous pool I enjoyed everything about my stay, mainly due to the pleasant, kind and helpful staff. The room had everything I needed, and I especially enjoyed the beautiful pool, which was large enough for swimming laps. Fresh coffee and hot water for tea were available around the clock, and breakfast was tasty and offered several good choices. Free Internet and the airport shuttle were added attractions. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Better experience This was my second night stay, and my free night stay due to the first stay on Sunday not being so good. We were locked out of our room for hours this time, and here's a hint in case this happens to anyone else, just find out what kind of screw is in the bottom of your room door, unscrew that, get the plate off, and put in new batteries which I believe the hotel will make sure is at the desk just in case from now on. Other than not being able to get into our room for hours, everyone was very nice, and this room had a working ac, and hot water for a shower this time around. I would have liked to have been in our room earlier than almost 1 AM since we had a car to return, and a flight to catch early the next morning. The breakfast is great, and the staff is always friendly, and very nice. Be sure to check your bill when you get it so you're not charged for something you shouldn't be. Ron, as always, comes to the rescue, and along with Tonya, and the rest of the good staff, they make the stay feel like home away from home. Ron will do all he can to make your stay great, that is, if he happens to be on duty. Thanks again, Ronnie! You're the sweetest, grandest, most helpful person there. You make our stays so great along with Tonya, and the rest of the staff. Oh, Ronnie, once again, I hope to hear they have fixed that horrible leaking, and very bad looking ceiling above where y'all stand behind the desk. Best wear a helmet, my friend :) September 21, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable bed, and friendly staff We have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express many times over. It's our home away from home. Every experience until this time, was excellent. This time, the ac didn't work, and it was so noisy that I barely had any sleep. No hot water to take a nice shower, and it was actually, barely warm at all. So disappointed! Ronnie and Tonya are the greatest, and they always welcome us home. NM is my home state. The rest of the staff are very nice too except for one with the experience being more like being lectured, and treated like something other than a good, returning guest, upon my arrival, and being very tired from a long flight there. If it wasn't for Ronnie and Tonya the next day, well this stay would have been a total negative. Ron, as always, fixed things. Thanks, Ron for always being so awesome and so helpful to us whenever we stay. Because of you, Tonya and the rest of the friendly staff there, we will stay again once the hotel is renovated. I just pray that ceiling behind the desk doesn't take y'all out or cause a massive fire. A bit worried about that, and it's not a pleasant sight to behold. Be careful behind there! September 21, 2015
