Nice Property

I was surprised the hotel was as quiet as it was being close to I-40. We have stayed here a couple of times and like the location and have never had any problems during our visits.

Pool and hot tub promised but closed

We called and made a reservation based on it having a hot tub. That afternoon we talked to the Holiday people and were assured that there was a hot tub. Imagine our disappointment when we got there to find out the hot tub was closed on that Monday.

Over Valued Room

Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. Room was extremely outdated and was possibility the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed at in the last 20 years. The air conditioner was right in my ear all night long. Carpet was worn out and dingy. The price of this room for the value received was extremely high. Will not stay here again. I would rate the overall value at a 2 star, not the touted 4.7 stars.

My Stay

As mentioned in my initial comments, everything was 1st Class all the way! I only stay at HIE or the IHG family of hotels whenever I travel. You all have always acknowledged my status within the IHG family, and everyone is so very attentive of everyone who stays there. That has been my experience whenever I stay in one. Kind of a Motel Feel

The hotel was of a lower quality than I'm used to with HIE. It had a motel feel to it. The room was fine, but I didn't feel like I was staying in a very good hotel for the price.

Nice hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff

After a long 13 hour day of travel, it was nice to arrive at a hotel that was refreshing to be in. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the pool. Had a great night of sleep and enjoyed the breakfast the next morning. Second time staying in this hotel in the past year. Will definitely be my hotel of close next time I'm in the area.

July vacation

Stayed there one night using points on our way to vacation in Colorado. Was a bit cumbersome to check in but the room and property was nice, clean, and comfortable. Pool was indoor and a bit cloudy but not bad. Breakfast was the same as all free breakfasts- includes powdered eggs but a good value, especially if you are traveling with a pet. Overall, I recommend the property.

Smoke in Room

I was given a non-smoking room that had clearly been smoked in. Staff were attentive in putting me into a new room, but I felt uncomfortable for the duration of my stay. Hotel felt unclean and poorly maintained. Air conditioner banging kept me awake all night.

Not so nice

Will look for other hotel options next time.......
Non-smoking room was like the smell of an ash tray. Nasty! When I opened the door the smell almost knocked me over.
Replace the carpet! Curtains! Update badly needed!
Many flies in room! Just felt dirty!

Furniture has stains.
Had to unplug fridge since it made an awful noise.
Staff was not friendly and did not welcome me when I walked in.
Asked them to look up my IHG number and they seemed put out. I had to ask three times if my IHG number was looked up and each time a different story.
I finally looked up the number myself to help them out.
