Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent place for weekend getaway If you luck out and can score a room with the fireplace in the winter, it is an awesome place to relax for the weekend. This place can have a neat feeling of an old time hotel as you walk the halls. It can be a bit on the noisy side if you are unlucky to be there when tons of kids are staying (Hockey tournament weekends for instance). Worth asking when you book to be isolated from the kid sections. February 14, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend Getaway Cut Short My spouse and I decided to stay here and get away from our normal routine with the kids. The overall appearance of the hotel is pleasant and the location of the property which neighbors nearby shopping and dining is an added bonus. The only drawback during my recent visit was housekeeping. We were awoken early Sunday morning with repetitive knocking at the door, hours shy of check out time not once but on three seperate occasions. The housekeeper wanted to know if we wanted service. On a weekday, when many travelers wether it be for business or pleasure are often absent from their rooms this would be a non issue. However, on the weekend many guests are looking to sleep in and the rude and agressive knocking by the housekeeper ruined that opportunity for me. February 12, 2015
