From the minute we entered the building to when we left we really enjoyed our stay in the HIE Baltimore Downtown. All the staff were very polite and helpful. They even supplied a courtesy mini bus down to the harbour area. We walked back to the hotel from the harbour after 9pm at night which was only around a 15 minute walk and felt safe at all times.
Would be very happy to stay at this hotel again should we revisit Baltimore in the future

Staff was friendly and attentive. Clean rooms.Parking is very limited and was somewhat of an issue.

Let me first say that the Hotel was clean, the room nice, and the staff was fine. My complaint is more about a couple issues I had. As a Platinum member who stays at least 50 nights a year I find it a bit offensive to have to $100 hold for incidentals put on my card when I arrived. This might seem trivial, but I travel a lot and if every property did this my card would be maxed out all the time. I've never had an incidental charge since beginning with IHG. When I checked out my business card was then processed with the wrong expiration date twice (I was paying for two individual night stays), and then run correctly twice in a row. The flurry of activity got my business car flagged as potential fraud and I was without the ability to use it for the rest of the day until I figured out what had happened. The first policy on it's own will keep me from staying at this property in the future, and the second issues though an accident was just one more reason to go elsewhere (even if it's another IHG property).

I have stayed at this property many times when traveling to appointments at Johns Hopkins. The staff are consistently welcoming and helpful, the shuttle service is outstanding, and the rooms extremely comfortable. I have to travel a long distance to see my doctors, and it's very comforting to know I can always return to your hotel.

Parking lot could use improvement in drainage. The outside area was a little scary but I was encouraged by the police presence and staff was very attentive.

I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels in the past but I must say that this particular stay was one of the best experiences I've had. The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms were much more modern and up to date than other rooms at Holiday Inn Express hotels that I have stayed at in the past. The wide variety of options available at the continental breakfast and the warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in are 2 reasons that I tend to choose Holiday Inn Express hotels (if available) when I'm travelling. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I can't say enough positive things about my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and would certainly stay here again.

This Hotel staff immediately caught our attention upon check in with their polite and courtesy greeting. We inquired about the shuttle and we were immediately introduced to the shuttle driver Dominic, who explained the shuttle schedule and times. We took the shuttle that evening to Fells Point and the surrounding area and we felt like we had a personal tour guide making sure we enjoyed our stay in Baltimore. I would recommend this Hotel anytime your looking to go to either a baseball or football game or just visiting the Inner Harbor. Thank you!
