Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of my favorite hoels I am on the road a lot with my job. This hotel is one of my favorites. The staff is always attentive and asking me if I need anything. They always greet me with a smile an a hello! The room is always clean. I have never had a complaint about staying at this hotel. Because of this hotel, I look for other HIE when I am in a different town. October 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent value for location Boulder CO is very busy this time of year. We were unable to find rooms for under $300 anywhere in town or even close by. I normally never use Holiday Inn Express, but took a chance this time around. The nightly rate was about half of what other places were charging and usually I expect to get what I pay for, but this hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was clean, comfortable and convenient. Breakfast was included in price and quite extensive. Location was outside downtown, but safe and still on the main drag (Broadway) and took only minutes to get into town.We had a car, but a shuttle comes by on a regular basis if you don't. Staff was readily available to respond to any need or question we had. Bathroom was well stocked with toiletries and they offered a service to provide any supplies we might have forgotten (did not need to use, but a nice touch) Overall, we were very impressed. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very poor customer service I have stayed at probably numerous Holiday Inns. Never have I had such a terrible experience. The front desk host was seemingly friendly and professional. I first had an issue when I discovered my room was not what had been discussed, not to mention I was never offered my Gold Elite gift bag with water or thanked for being a member. I had reserved a single king, not two queens. Had they said it was going to be two queens from the start it wouldn't have been a big deal. So, I came back to the front desk and was met by another young lady, that was out of uniform to say the least. She said there are no more rooms available with a king. Ok, not the end of the world. I went back to room and got settled in. Later that evening I went to the spa to relax. I found that the cover was still on the spa. I went back inside to ask the original girl that checked me in if I could take the cover off. She said, yes. I went back outside to to remove the cover. I found that there were no towels either. Back inside I go to ask for a towel. I stood at the front desk and here a loud sigh. The girl comes out and asks what she can do. I told her that I also would need a towel. She said she would have to get me one. If you knew I was heading out there and you know there are towels outside, wouldn't you offer me a towel beforehand??? If you do not like your job of customer service, you shouldn't be working at a hotel. Because of this terrible service, I broke away from Holiday Inn for the first time in probably 5 years and stayed at another hotel chain. They were very professional and accommodating.
