Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed Reasonable rate and not too far from Boston city and famous universities, nice room size with fridge and microwave, comfortable bed and pillow, good service, nice staffs, simple but good enough breakfast variety with great service. TV is too small, smelly carpet in hallway, need to use more freshener or citrus cleaner, quiet neighborhood, not much to see in the area without car. Good for 1 or 2 day short stay April 8, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy Poor Customer Consideration Came in to relax from work at 4:30PM. I noticed a gentlemen with equipment and dressed to do tile work. No problem until at 5:15PM banging and pounding started. It stopped around 6:00PM after I call the front desk. The receptionist denied any banging after she checked. Several business phone calls were disrupted. Although the receptionist was apologetic for management to have construction start on off normal business hours is non considerate of it's customers. I mistakenly left the do not disturb tag on the door. I call the receptionist to extend my stay. I could not get room service to clean my room at 4:30PM because they were going home when I arrived. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ok if desperate.. if not, look elsewhere! Toilet did not flush at all without manual intervention at every single flush. Housekeeping tried to gain access at 7am. The Do Not Disturb sign did not fit the door and fell off every time the door was shut. The ATM machine did not work but it took 2 days before anybody turned it off and put a sign on it. There was a one inch gap at the bottom of the window allowing a 30 degree wind to blow in. The "remedy" was a block of foam which did not fit and blew across the room. Had to wedge one of the hotel towels in the gap to prevent freezing! On attempting to enter the elevator, as soon as the doors opened, a member of staff who was in the elevator constantly pressed the close door button to prevent our entry... a foot in the door was the only way to enter. The room above housed a couple who screamed and yelled every night of our stay until past 3am. All in all, not a good experience but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. March 25, 2015
