Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Winter Stay We (my wife, two kids and I) returned to the Holiday Inn Express on 76 for a pre-Christmas trip with my parents. My parents had a standard room, which we used reward points for the first night. The IHG rewards program is definitely worth having. My family and I booked a family suite (the space of two rooms configured such that you have a suite: a living room with pull-out couch and a regular-sized bedroom). The room proved perfect, as the entire family had room to congregate in our suite and no one felt "on-top of anyone else." The one negative of the whole trip was a problem caused by booking with the IHG toll-free number. My experiences in the past booking directly with the hotel or via the web were much better than with the IHG toll-free number. The night staff of the hotel tends to be a bit friendlier than the day staff, but everyone is polite and professional. We took advantage of the breakfast on this trip, which was typical for Holiday Inn Expresses. This hotel is our "go to" place in Branson; I do wish that they had an indoor pool, though. Great service, great location that is centrally located to the theaters and restaurants, and even handled a last minute reservation change with ease.
