Stayed here while moving my daughter into BU. Older property, but kept up pretty well. Price was good compared to other hotels in the Boston area. Building was a little strange. The elevator to upper floors is a LONG way from the front desk. Maybe the longest hallway I have ever seen in a hotel. Luckily we were able to park near the exit door close to that elevator.

I stayed at the HI Express in Brockton and checked in on a Sunday night. Front desk staff was very nice and the checkin process went smoothly. I was up in my room in a matter of minutes and the guest room was nice. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the morning before leaving for the cape. Would recommend this location!

So the title really says it all. I just stayed here as a stopover, and I was tired and needed to rest. I checked in easily, and the front desk staff were great - very helpful. Acknowledged my Platinum status and gave me my rewards, and everything was great. The hotel's carpeting and wallpaper, etc - it all seemed a little outdated, a little drab and old. Made it seem not like a nice, vibrant HI Express. But the room was comfy, if a little outdated itself. One of the best things about this property is that it is very close to the shopping center and some restaurants, like Buffalo Wild Wings, so it was very easy to check in, shower and grab something to eat all in a reasonable period of time. I'd recommend this hotel if you're in the area, but don't expect to be blown away. It's pretty par for the course, in terms of basically everything. Should have been closer to $100/night, instead of what it was.
