Reasonable Room Rate, Friendly and Courteous Staff, Clean and Comfortable Room, Great Car Service. Although the Breakfast was O.K. the Buffet was fair.

I was assigned Rm # 112 on the first floor right off the lobby, and adjacent to the elevators. I arrived in the evening after a long day of traveling, and was just looking forward to a good relaxing night s sleep.
This was by far the noisiest room i have ever stayed in, I could hear every sound from the lobby, the staff talking most of the evening, and most importantly the elevators operating with every trip.
I ended up turning on the ac unit to provide some background noise. I spoke with the front desk staff about the noise, and received an apologetic, we are sorry, "we hear that allot about that room" There was no mention or availability to change offered. After a very restless night sleep, I spoke with the front desk staff again about my experience, this time there was no apologies, or offer to reduce my room. I inquired about a reduced charge, and was informed that agent could not adjust my rate, but could give me a whopping 300 bonus points for my experience.
I travel quite a bit for work, and even to this hotel, however this was by far my most negative experience with IHG brands, and customer service.
