Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not as Good as other Holiday Inn Express Bathroom lighting is ridiculously DARK. Small yellow light in the shower and totally useless dim fluorescent light over the sink. With taupe/brownish walls. Thank goodness I had the window to use in order to get ready in the morning. I cannot fathom who would think that a businessman or businesswoman could get ready in the morning with the dimly lit bathroom situation. I could barely see to apply makeup, fix hair, etc… so moved over to the window where there was enough light. To compound this 'already frustrating way-too-dark-bathroom' situation, the blow dryer did not function properly and it took forever to dry my hair. Normally I carry my own dryer, but for a quick overnight stay, I figured I'd use the hotel provided dryer. This dryer needs to be thrown away and replaced, as it barely worked. Room was comfortable other than the above items. Needless to say, I will stay at another Holiday Inn or other hotel the next time I'm in the Medford area for business, as I need light in the morning to get ready and a working blow dryer! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room cleanliness We were checked into Rm. 103 which had a very unpleasant smell to the room and the carpet dirty . I asked the staff to give us another room and we both checked Rm. 104 to see if it was acceptable. The smell was not as unpleasant as the one previous. I had the staff go to 103 to smell it as well. We were only there for 1 night so we decided to stay. I did suggest to her that the carpet needs deep cleaning and she was going to inform housekeeping. Don't the people who clean the room do periodic deep cleaning in pet designated rooms? We were in other Holiday Inn hotels on this trip and except for the Medford hotel, we had no comments about room cleanliness. July 15, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by These folks set the standard. The staff at the Medford/Central Point Holiday Inn Express consistently provide a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Business takes me on the road over 200 night per year, and have had a chance to compare this hotel with other IHG properties, as well as many competitors. Clean, quiet, and accommodating. At this rate/value level, as well as some other more expensive locations, these guys raise the bar. July 12, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by The bed broke this visit Everything about this Holiday Inn Express was great... except the bed. The bed was my main reason for being there. This bed was way past its expiration date and made for a poor night's sleep. A second discrepancy was the room door. It appeared to be improperly hung, leaving a gap large enough to see through and allowed hallway noise into the room that would usually be blocked. Terrific breakfast selection. July 5, 2015
