We stay at the Holiday Inn Express Central Point in Medford, OR twice a year when we drive from Washington to California. We have two dogs and the hotel is perfectly set up for pets. There is a modest pet fee charged & AAA rates for room. We stay on the ground floor near an exit in order to easily walk the dogs. There is a large adjacent field area & a designated dog lawn area. We like the option of the 2 queen beds and the breakfast. Blankets to cover the beds are provided. Pets cannot be left alone in the rooms so we take turns eating or bring breakfast back to the room. KFC is nearby. Highly recommend.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jackie22H Very friendly staff, impressive property
Literally every staff member I came into contact was excellent. Annie, Chelsea, Nickie, the night auditor on the night of 4/18, were all super pleasant and helpful. Annie was especially as I spoke with her on the phone when I made my reservation and she checked me in. Extremely pleasant and helpful. I was kindly put in a room on the top floor but I noticed there were some rooms next to and near me with a sports teams' names on the doors. I was a little worried they would be loud #I work at a local hotel as well and we are almost guaranteed noise complaints when we have young teams with us# but it turned out i heard almost nothing from them. My stay was quiet, undisturbed, the room was big and clean and pleasant. And I was given a late checkout, which was super helpful. The whole property was very clean and pleasant to be in. I would absolutely recommend this place to others, and look forward to coming here again on my next "staycation."

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rothbar cavaliers Great price and clean accomodations.
We had a block of rooms for high schools students who were in town for a track meet. All the kids enjoyed their stay and made use of the swimming pool. They also enjoyed the tasty breakfast the next morning. We would definitely return next year.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JHCM Good people, solid hotel
A solid hotel for the price, with a friendly and helpful staff.
Three suggested areas of improvement:
There are no weights in the exercise room (and the bike seat slipped).
The bed is starting to get a grove in it and will need to be changed soon.
The wi fi was spotty late at night and in the early am
But these are all minor issues. I would come back if in the area.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Taiwanjon Too Simple
Check-in was friendly and efficient. The big issue was the lack of a refrigerator. I assumed that the small mini-fridge was standard in all hotels; I was wrong. The next night i upgraded to a suite, but it did not have a stove. Thus, this property is overpriced and a poor value.
A half mile away there is a IHG brand, Candlewood Suites that offers a lower price and better amenities, but no breakfast.
Lastly, the breakfast is a nice touch, but the plastic utensils are too flimsy. I understand keeping costs down, but the knife and fork were useless for eating pancakes.
