On our way home from Key West made our second planned stop, after two days of eight hour drives with one more to go. Were very happy to find a very new modern Holiday Inn Express at the end of the trail. Beautiful open atrium. Loved the upgrade for an IHG Club member to a spacious suite, with all the amenities. Wish we could have stayed longer it was so nice.
Please keep building these new beauties.

Very nice place to stay for the money featuring contemporary design and clean rooms and bathrooms. The only knock on the experience were that the pillows are too firm and I didn't realize that the A/C control was on the wall instead of the window unit. Overall, a very good place to stay!

This property had been open for only a couple months so everything was clean and new in appearance. The lobby was open to the room hallways up through the middle of the building which did cause increased noise in your room if people were socializing in the lobby as the voices and noise just floated right up. This was a bit troublesome when people congregated there late at night. Also the room walls and floors are apparently very thin with little in any insulation as you can hear talking, walking, and water running from surrounding rooms. The room itself and the bathroom were nicely laid out. The beds were comfy. The fridge did not have a freezer area in it which is always a negative for me; however this seems to be a common thread with the newer models. Breakfast was not impressive at all but that probably depends on what you like to eat. They also had these odd little luggage carts which are less than half the size of the ones in most motels. They were a nuisance to use as we can usually fit lots of stuff on one but had to use 2 and since one end is open you have to be careful of things falling off the open end which is smaller than the push end.
