Stayed at this hotel in order to be close to the airport when we flew out the next day. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was a good one. Nice hot tub. Great breakfast. Clean room.

I have stayed at this hotel three times. Each visit has been problem free. Some airport noise early in the morning, but it is a airport hotel. The noise was not disturbing. Staff has always been friendly.

This is me and my family's stay on our way back from Niagara Falls, which means we stayed in another HIE before this stop. The room was nice, with large space to walk around. It's on the second room, west side of the building, which is right next to the ice machine and fitness center, very convenient.
Those plane lovers will definitely fall in love with the room as it directly faces the Buffalo airport, with a close view of watching planes taking off or landing most time during the day. I'm not sure of the night though, as I'm a deep sleep person that is hard to be waken up by noise or light. So, to me, the airport noise is not disturbing me at all.
What do bothered me a lot, however, are the bathtub and the a/c. There's sth wrong with the drain which made the water flow rather slow. It's a pain to shower in the bathtub like this. The heating system of the a/c is not working well. Even if I set the temp. to 80° for an hour and more, the detected temp. of the room can only reach as high as 79°, while it feels even lower. Normally a Honeywell product shouldn't be like this. I was surprised.
I called the front desk, but the technique said the mechanics are not working at night till next morning, so we kind of had to just go with it and let it go..
The good thing is, the front desk was able to send over additional blankets, and a new box of facial tissue which was missing in the bathroom.
