Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Headache If I ever need to stay by the Atlanta airport again, I will NOT stay here. We arrived late into Atlanta on a Thursday night, and needed to be up early to head up to NC for a wedding. When we arrived there was absolutely no parking. Then check-in was very very slow. First she couldn't find our reservation (which I made over a week ahead of time). When she finally gets us checked in she forgets to have me sign the paperwork, or give us the room number. I was also never acknowledged as a rewards member. Slowest check-in to a Holiday Inn EXPRESS ever. We finally make it up to our room by midnight, and it's a tiny room with a full sized bed. Our reservation was for a king size bed. I have to go back downstairs at this points to ask for the correct room. She tells me she has to "check" a room and then will call the room we're already checked into. About 20 minutes later we get a call that we can come down she has keys for another room. So we haul all of our stuff back down to haul it back up with new room keys. The new room is the one we booked, however the TV was not functional. At this point we didn't care, and were just happy to have a large bed to crash in. However I never plan to stay at this hotel again, when there are so many better options in the area. June 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value for ATL layover I stayed at this HIE during a recent business trip to Mexico. I arrived into ATL late at night. The shuttle arrived promptly at the airport and I hwas in my room 15 minutes later. The building and room were adequate. I've seen better and worse within the HIE brand. The breakfast was one of the better I've experienced in recent HIE stays. I would 100% recommend this hotel for someone in the same situation needing good value for an overnight layover at ATL. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfy and helpful The hotel room was clean and comfortable. Ample outlets for all types of electronic devices, I usually travel with 4-5 devices that need charging. Parking was limited due to renovations and the shuttle driver moved the shuttle to allow parking so we wouldn't have to circle parking lot with limited parking. The breakfast was just enough and added an extra punch with the instant pancake maker! The breakfast staff was helpful and didn't rush people to eat and go. Hotel staff shared about points and opportunity for points as an IHG rewards member! Also environmental and resource friendly I took advantage of declining room service to receive extra points on my stay! June 15, 2016

To whom ever this may concern; I don't write reviews that often, however I believe I had to comment on how amazing your staff members are at this particular location. We had a terrible day, missed our flight due to a traffic jam. The lady in the front desk name Clanette ( I hope I spelled her name correctly) was so very kind, and helpful. She went out of her way to make us comfortable, especially with my over tiered toddler. (Even offered her a snack, and drink) Every single staff member including the cleaning service ladies greeted us politely, and were so personable, and kind. Our room was comfortable, and clean, even the man that drove us to the airport the next day was wonderful. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Sincerely; Satisfied customer June 15, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable rooms but lack of mgmt attn The room was comfortable with nice beds and good choice of breakfast. But the management needs pay a little more attention to the guest comfort - 1. When I arrived at 1 AM, there was not a single space to park my car. They allow park n fly but do not keep enough spaces open for hotel guests. 2. My room did not have a fridge and microwave. Also the Keurig coffee maker was a non-functioning one. I had a small kid so could not stay w/o fridge and mw. I checked-in at 1 AM but had to still wait for 45 minutes to get them the fridge and MW to the room. Could not relax and unpack because we did not know whether they would change our room and would have to move again. June 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend of Terror but Hotel Staff were Angels My Sister and I came down to Atlanta for a picnic which we did not have as much fun as we expected and we ran into many things that hampered down on our trip. Even though we didn't enjoy our weekend getaway the comfortability and the hotel staff came to our rescue by having our stay being comfortable. I recommend not staying out late at night because there won't be any parking spaces and you run the risk of getting towed. June 14, 2016
