Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by clean, friendly, comfortable, and relaxing We stayed for a swimming meet in the US Air Force Academy. The location of hotel is very convenient. Rooms are spacious and clean, comfortable beds, and nice amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and a desktop charger for smart phones). The area has several hotels and a gas station/convenient store within walking distance. We like it and will come back next time in town. July 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, great breakfast, excellant staff Staff was polite and attentive. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The only thing that would have made this better was if the room had a fridge. I spoke with the manager about this and she informed me she is working on getting all of the rooms equipped with a fridge and microwave. As for now only the suites have them. July 29, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Experience We had a double queen room with a sofa sleeper for 4 people. Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We stayed in there for 5 nights. The staff was really friendly and the breakfast food was great as well. The only issue we had was when we came in late was not able to find a very good parking spot. My wife is handicap and there is only 2 parking spots for handicap access. So I had to drop her off at the front entrance and find a spot way out back. Other than that it was a great hotel and super friendly people running the desk and cleaning the rooms. I highly recommend this Hotel. Thanks for having us. Plus you could see pikes peak from the balcony on the back porch. Very relaxing. July 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Family Reunion Our families came from all over the U.S. for our family reunion and our stay at the Holiday Inn Express made the time we shared complete. Every morning we would gather in the dining area to enjoy breakfast together and catch up on old times and discussing the upcoming days events. I would recommend this hotel to all and would return to this hotel when ever I visit Colorado Springs again. July 28, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Disappointed The price was way too high for what we got. I have always had good experiences at Holiday Inn Express, so I didn't hesitate to reserve at this location. Keep in mind I have never been to the area and wasn't familiar with hotel locations. As I enter town I tried to get a room in the World Arena area with no luck, so to the internet I went. Upon my search I found this Holiday Inn and called for availability. They had a room, at a much higher rate than others I had called, but I had been driving for 6+ hours and the first batch of hotels were booked so I went with. I'll start with the one good thing about the place; the bed was very comfortable. Now the bad: the road immediately out front and the parking lot to the North were highly damaged, and driving on either was rough. The gas station directly across the street, and the only one within a mile of hotel, was completely out of unleaded gas. The 1st floor enter/exit doors were never locked. The carpet in our room was a little stained and with this being a pet friendly hotel I will assume that is why. I'm am personally not a fan of fighting for space in an elevator with a couple of big dogs. The bathroom could have used some water damage repair around the tub; although not affecting functionality it was unsightly. The staff was unprepared for the amount of people attending breakfast, options were limited and restock was slow. Overall my experience, at this location, was poor compared to the price I paid. I would probably be more accepting of the flaws for half the price. But lesson learned. Knowing the area a little better and the other options available, that do not immediately pop up in an internet search, I will plan accordingly and avoid this hotel for this trip next year.
