Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 fire alarm and teenagers To whom it may concern: My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel on 2/14/15 for a Valentine's Day retreat in Columbus. After driving in the winter storm for several hours and waiting in line for dinner for additional hours, we were excited to check in and have a relaxing night in the hot tub. However, when we arrived there were multiple teenage boys and girls hanging out in the lobby, eating pizza, chasing each other, and yelling. We checked in and went to the pool area to sit in the hot tub. Upon arriving, there were 6 to 7 teen boys in the hot tub, pushing each other into the pool and cursing loudly. My boyfriend and I waited and soon an employee came in and we thought he would ask them to leave. The boys did not have an adult with them and were clearly not at least 16. However, the employee simply smiled and restocked the towels. At that point, 3 teenage girls came in and then went into the adjoining weight room. At that time, they began to misuse the workout equipment (seeming to show off for the boys) and the teen boys continued in their antics. When the girls disappeared from the weight room, the fire alarm was pulled. At this point, we were already pretty frustrated, but the idea of going outside in negative temperatures for a fire alarm that was likely pulled as an immature joke, made me livid. At that point, the guardians of the teen boys came in and laughed that someone from the group (it was a bus load of teens) had pulled the fire alarm. No one from the hotel ever came to ask the boys to leave the pool area and we were completely exhausted from the lack of rest, coupled with the fire alarm. All in all, my boyfriend had stayed at this hotel before and had been a repeat customer; however, due to our most recent experience, I believe that a refund should be issued. Being a frequent traveler, this is sad but I have never seen such disorganization and lack of respect for the other guests achieved in such a short stay. -Michelle 32F February 20, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service Our room was great, comfortable bed. The internet was slow but not enough to cause an issue. The staff was great, hotel is very clean. I am not sure the difference though of being and IHG rewards member because I wasn't offered anything special but again, still nothing to not stay here. My child was sick and the staff did everything they could to make us comfortable. They went above and beyond. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. February 19, 2015
