The hotel was comfortable and late check out helped... wish it had more shuttle options....

I enjoyed my stay the rooms were clean as they are in all the holiday inn expresses I go to. It is within walking distance of the Gas Monkey Bar and Grill.

Great hotel. Holiday Inn Express is a step above LaQuinta, which is where I usually stay for about the same price. Will probably book Holiday Inn Express again just because the rooms are so much bigger and the quality is much better.

I left a couple of shirts on Monday in my room, I return to the hotel on Wednesday at 7:30pm. There were two staff members at the desk and no one else in the lobby. I enquired about the shirts I had left. I was told that the lost and found was only handled on the day shift. I explained that I needed the shirt for the next morning. I was told by the lady behind the desk that lost and found was locked In the office and they didn't have access. I ask if they could contact the manager and I was told he didn't have a phone. (odd)
She said she would go over to housekeeping to see if they hung them up there, I thank her and waited for her to go check. After I had stood there for about 10 minutes she ask if I needed anything else. I told her I was waiting on her, there was still no one in the lobby but me. She got an attitude and told me the housekeeping was on the other side of the hotel and she would call me when she had time to go check it out. The man at the desk call me about an hour and a half later to tell me he didn't see them. I had a plane to catch the next morning at 6:00am. I got to the office in Nashville, TN at 9:00am and called the hotel and the staff located the shirts and said they would mail them to me. I have a Diamond membership with ____________and decided to switch this year to IHG which means I will be staying with you for about 60 nights this year and most trips I bring I to 2 people with me. It would have been helpful if your staff had access to lost and found. I am in the hospital business and I understand how the interaction with one employee can taint the whole experience. In the 6 years I have been staying at _________ ___ I have never had a staff member dismiss me as a not important enough to help customer. The reason I am changing to IHG is that when I stay at Holiday Inn Express they, most of the time, up grade me to a better room and I am only a gold member. I wanted to see what kind of service I get when I reach the next level with IHG.

nothing to complain about. very good hotel. more than what i expected considering how affordable it is. the bed is comfortable, the shower is nice, it is quiet, decent complimentary breakfast. will highly recommend.
