The staff here is great. They are so friendly, so inviting, and so helpful. The rooms are good. I did only stay one night. Even then the staff was great. Breakfast was good. I do have one piece of advice. Through no fault of the hotel. Garbage trucks pick up early in the morning. They make a good bit of noise on the back side of the building. I was in 103, good room, first floor. Easy access shower.

Because we have friends in the area we are there several times a year and always stay here. We are always treated well and have a pleasant stay.

We were traveling to see family and had our dog, hotel and staff were very receptive and accommodating. It was a pleasure staying in Denison.

Very nice place to stay with a reasonable cost. Convenient to the highway, but no highway noise in the rooms. Rooms clean, modern, and dark.
Only "issue" is the breakfast. While the selection is extensive, the hot food was fair. Ended up eating the pastries instead, which were very good.

Overall the HIE experience is above average compared to most of its competitors. Improving the quality and variety of the breakfast and moving the smoking areas away from the access portals and room air vents of the hotel would improve the experience. These inadequacies are not a reflection in the individual hotel in Denison, but rather a common among all the HIE lodging that I have stayed in. These problems in my view are a due to corporate wide policys.
