Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Check In service EVER Booking confirmation stated check in was at 3pm. Upon hotel arrival we were told check in was not until 4pm and the rooms were not ready. After standing in the lobby for a hour waiting for our room we were finally placed in our room at 430. Elevator broke on the way to our room, an employee we were riding with states " all we can do is knock loud enough and hope someone hears us". Really? What kind of operation is this? August 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay when coming to visit Detroit I'm a native Detroiter. A group of friends and I recently visited for the weekend. There was so much new cool stuff to do that we're planning to go back! The Holiday Inn is ideally situated for walking to events, restaurants, the river, the people mover etc. They also have a shuttle that takes you and picks you up within a 3 mile radius. The staff was great and very helpful. I will be back!!! August 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Condition of hotel Our room had a bathroom door that would not latch, had a poorly patched hole in it and the water pressure was terrible. There were areas in the room that had been poorly maintained as areas had not be caulked. We will say we appreciated being upgraded to a suite when it was found at checkin that the room we attempted to enter was still occupied. The elevator floors had not been swept recently and looked bad. All our activities were at another hotel but we chose to stay at your facility because of price. August 20, 2015
