Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by KateP100 Handy Hotel for stays in Edinburgh
Very easy hotel to access, with parking which is always a bonus in Edinburgh. Hotel comfortable and clean. Easy to get into city centre as excellent bus services right outside the hotel. Would definitely recommend and will use in the future. We got the hotel at a very reasonable price in comparison to other hotels in the city.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jackylad Good location.
Situated in Leith and great if visiting the Royal Yacht Britannia which is 5 minutes walk away.
Public transport links to the city are very good with a frequent bus service to the city immediately outside the hotel. Reasonable price and 10 / 15 minute ride for £1.50 single or £4 all day.
Hotel very clean with good facilities. Good food choice but a bit of a free for all at breakfast time with no organisation. Some people are less considerate than others.

If you are satisfied with a motel stay, this is the place, just the price is much higher. Very basic room and basic supplies. Don't expect anything more

my stay with my daughter and grandson was superb.
the only tiny thing I could fault was a very common problem in almost every hotel I have ever stayed in!
Even at home where it is just my husband and myself nowadays, I have to regularly clean the grouting in between the shower tiles - it gets grimy very quickly, a buildup of body oils and shampoo, conditioner etc.
the easiest way to clean it is with a scrubbing brush or old toothbrush and thick bleach. this removes the buildup and although labour intensive makes such a difference and the area smells fresher too!
Hope this is helpful.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jeep Traveller Ideal location for shops and transport to Edinburgh
Ideal location for shops and transport to Edinburgh with public transport just 100 yards away, the cost into Edinburgh is just £1.50 and with a day ticket at just £4.00 you can hop on or off as many buses you like we went to the Zoo which is just two buses away from the Hotel.
The hotel staff are good the rooms are cleaned every day (we were there for 5 nights) The breakfast is a challenge, I would stay away from the orange juice as it’s so sweet it undrinkable and lots of people were leaving it un-drunk, we stuck to milk. The sausages and beans are ok but the scrambled eggs looked grey in fact they were topped up one morning and it looked like runny porridge. There are yogurt, cheese, breakfast cereal and a pleather of other goodies to eat so it’s good value overall.
