We were glad to be staying only one night. The property is undergoing renovation, but still things could have been better. The furnishings were a mismatch, with the tv balanced on a small table, creaky bed, uncomfortable sofa bed, and generally odd combinations of items. Outside our window was scaffolding, and at 9 AM construction was underway. Road noise awoke us during the night. The bathroom was very small, but on the plus side there were clean towels and lots of hot water. The room was generally clean, too. We tried to use the computer and printer but we could not get either to work. The very helpful desk clerk offered to print our boarding passes. The pool was closed. Breakfast was standard Holiday Inn Express fare, clean and well maintained. The shuttle was great. For the price, this was not a good value.

Not a bad location for use of Hobby.
But the traffic is consistently loud. the TV channel selection is limited. Was watching the golf tournament from Pebble Beach and once it left the major network they shift to the Golf Channel---but you don't carry the Golf Channel. Not good
Also, no ice per floor. You have to go to the lobby to get ice.
Friendly staff at the front desk. But maybe they should have some uniformity in dress code. Professional , look you best approach is best.

This hotel is undergoing renovations. I didn't see any mention of this on the hotel's website.
Because of the renovations, the indoor pool wasn't heated and several windows were missing from the pool room. An indoor pool isn't really indoors if there aren't windows. It was too cold to use during my visit.
My room's carpet was gross. My feet turned black from walking around barefoot. Yuck!
I called in advance to ask for a room upgrade as a platinum elite member. I was told I was being upgraded to a king suite. When I got there, the upgrade wasn't in the computer so it took extra time to check-in, and I was only given a normal king room. Disappointing.
My keycard wasn't ready when I checked in (not for my original room or my upgraded room). I thought platinum elite members were supposed to get Priority Check-in?
A newspaper wasn't delivered to my room, but it was delivered to several others. I'm supposed to get a newspaper as a platinum elite member.
Overall, disappointing. This hotel is hit-and-miss for club benefits, is dirty, and needs to make it clear they are under renovation on the website.
