This property has really gone down hill, the front desk staff was nice and very persistent to get my email address from me, I thought IHG shared that information with them but I guess not, they had a happy hour for free but I did not see anyone enjoying it so I just went to my room, the elevator carpeting is coming up, there was dirt along the edges of every corner, when I reached my floor I noticed WOW the carpet is really getting dingy and again dirt dust along the walls down the hall, when I reached my room I was ready mentally prepared to see the same again, it was a little better but then I used the rest room and the toilet seat would NOT STAY UP, being a man, I prefer to raise the seat while using the toilet, this required me to hold the lid up with one hand to take care of my business, the shower had mold along the edge of the back wall seam that can easily be removed with TILEX or KABOOM, I suggest you get some for this location, the bed, well that is pure dumpster ready, its not fit for a 250lb man to get a good nights rests, I am sorry I will NOT be back to this location no matter what, there are at least 5 other IHG properties within five miles of this one, plenty of choices out there. If you wish for more details feel free to call me, I will give you an ear full.

Due to weather condition at final destination, I was stuck in Houston two evenings. Found HI Kingwood through my travel portal. Excellent choice.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Iheartsleep Form but not Function
We arrived after midnight hoping to have a good night's sleep before continuing home from a trip. Unfortunately, the room was so loud, either from other guests who apparently do not like sleep, or from lack of sound-proofing that we had a terrible night's sleep, being constantly awoken by doors slamming or amorous neighbors overhead. The room was too bright in the morning to try and resume sleeping, even though a late-checkout was granted. In hind-sight I would have continued on driving for four more hours just to get home and actually sleep.
The breakfast in the morning featured cold eggs and stale, rock-hard cinnamon rolls. My 5 year old daughter was very proud of herself when she was able, with a knife and a lot of effort, to cut one open.
I generally prefer Holiday Inn Expresses, and this one looked like one but didn't function like the many I have stayed at previously and been impressed with.
