Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Construction noise I stayed one night at this hotel and was not happy with results. The staff did not inform me that contruction would start at 830am in room above mine. It sounded like chairs being dropped on my ceiling. When I checked out 4 hours earlier than I planned on due to noise, I was told I would be granted 20,000 points into my priority points within 20 minutes--It is now 25 hours since I checked out and no points yet. The staff was very defensive about all aspects of my complaint and did not seem sympathetic with anything I had said. I had also originally requested a later checkout than 1pm because I had to pick up a co-worker at the airport at 5pm--this was denied and I was told a later checkout was up to the discretion of the management and they could not accommodate. So in the end I got less than 8 hrs of sleep, had to check out many hours earlier than desired to walk around stores for 6 hours and so far no complimentary 20,000 points for my unpleasant nights stay. May I add that I am have Spire Elite Status. February 9, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Laundry and dry cleaning I arrived at the hotel late on a friday evening to stay 2 nights and prepare for the next week's business travel. I was amazed to discover that there was no laundry service available - only self-use facilities - and no one-day dry cleaning service. I needed both and will certainly not be using this hotel again. I work in customer service and believe it's a BIG crucial part of any business. Holiday Inn Express gave me great customer service. We didn't get to swim due to remodeling of the pool at the time of our stay so a discount would have been greatly appreciated since my kids were really looking forward to swimming. January 21, 2016
