We stayed two nights and everything was great. This place is close to a lot of things to see in the Black Hills.

Very dissatisfied with being put on the top floor, as far from the elevator as possible, after informing the desk clerk of my bad knees.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by tmranch OK for small town
It would not be my first choice for next time. Needs updating. Mattress broken down in first room, moved due to that and then upstairs room being re-carpeted at 8am (ugh). Cleanliness did not seem to be top priority, but it was adequate. Reservations incorrect by one day. Would have stayed additional night, but just too many cons. Pros, in center of smallest town, staff diligent, and coffee always hot.

A very beautiful decorated hotel lobby and very comfortable too.
As usual, great staff service and a hearty good breakfast in the morning.
Highly recommended place to stay if you visit Mount Rushmore.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AsIfff Glad We Stayed at Keystone Location!!
Staff was very friendly and courteous throughout our stay-- especially Ms. Becky who welcomed us in our late check-in. She was very helpful! The Keystone location is a better choice to get the most of "Mt. Rushmore feel"-- love the scenic view/surroundings. The suite was comfortable especially when you have three kids that need space. :) I wish the indoor pool was heated-- maybe not working during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Keystone!
