Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GarVic Clean and comfortable with attentive staff
Friendly staff through stay with clean simple rooms, ideal for a weekend base.
Family room with sofa bed for our daughter was fine for a couple of nights but may start to feel a bit cramped if staying longer (or if sharing a room with a teenager).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LIKN Very comfortable, ideal location, efficient staff
I cannot fault anything except the hot buffet breakfast which consisted of sausage, scrambled egg and baked beans. I would have liked bacon! The scrambled egg was rather tasteless. As I was running the London marathon it would have been good to have had the choice of porridge too.
However, the rooms were very comfortable and clean, the staff very efficient and helpful and the location was ideal.
Will definitely be back next year.

This is my second time visiting this property and they are still excellent and I saw major improvements. The most important is probably the unlimited free wifi. When I visited in 2012 you had to pay I think 2 pounds for every hour. Now it is completely free and unlimited which is amazing. The staff is still excellent and very helpful. I wish I remembered the name of the person who checked me in, but basically I forgot my credit card in the states. I didn't realize until I was at the airport, he was very helpful in allowing me to use a combination of several different payment methods. LOL Must have been a pain in the butt but he was very helpful and did it all with a smile. I have two minor suggestions. The eggs, the eggs, the eggs, this chain offers a free power breakfast with some pretty tasty items. But the eggs can not get any more artiifical, you can taste the powder aftertaste when you eat them, its really bad. There are many other items to eat so it was not a huge deal. Also, I failed to ask but I am not sure if the sausage is beef or pork( i assumed pork), but it would be great to have a halal or at least non pork option for the non pork eaters(or if they arent pork, clearly indicate that on the sign). The other thing is it would be helpful to have one of those luggage dollies available. I travelled with two teenage girls and a six month old so we had tons of luggage and when checking in and checking out it would have been great to not have to go back and forth from the elevator to the room. Besides that no complaints. The location is perfect to go everywhere. I did actually look at other holiday inn expresses in different parts of London that were a couple hundred cheaper, but when I spoke to my friends that lived in London they indicated some of the commutes were 40 minutes and up! We were in central London everyday in fifteen to twenty minutes tops. The area has several very affordable restaurants and grocery stores.
