Pleased with my stay in May 2015. My bed and pillows were super comfortable. The location is great.

The staff made me feel very welcome, they were very helpful.
The one major draw back was the pillows. They were not comfortable at all. Very lumpy, should have brought my pillow from home. Also, I could hear traffic all night long.

The hotel was situated close to the convention center allowing easy access to the events. Pricing was reasonable. On-site parking was extremely limited and I feel lucky to have arrived at a time when there where still a few spots.
The biggest beef was the paucity of eating establishments in the area, something I think the city needs to address.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by das709 Nice hotel with great staff and location
Spent a couple of days at the Holiday Inn Express in downtown Minneapolis. The staff were very attentive, the room was clean and spacious and the location was perfect.

Absolutely pleased with stay. Will stay there again. Everything was great and loved it. Close walk to everything in Downtown. No need for a rental car if you are staying in downtown. You also can ride the train to the mall of america. If I had to say anything less than positive, it would be that there was no coffee served on Saturday Morning.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by psamp211 Not what I expected for a holiday inn
I was told when I booked this hotel that there was an eating establishment within the hotel...there is not.
I asked about parking, and they said their lot was full, and I could park across the street. This was an additional 15.00 charge. The blinds would not close all the way, so the lights from the sidewalk were coming in all night.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by HotelTraveler77 Great service but terrible rooms
I wish the service could make up for the paper thin walls, the mind numbing sounds of the jacuzzi tubs in nearby rooms, and the ridiculously cramped fitness area. However, it can't. I think they need to remove the jacuzzi tubs from the suites, make their fitness area a bit lager, and upgrade the bathrooms. It would also be nice to have more blankets on the beds. The one pitiful, small blanket with a sheet just didn't cut it in Minneapolis.

The management at this hotel is unacceptably below par in their handling of customer requests. As a platinum elite member, I travel to many IHG properties and this is by far and away the worst customer service I've ever experienced.
That being said, the hotel is adequate, unfortunately, the service ruined everything else for my stay.
