Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DO NOT STAY I am a business traveler/platinum member of IHG. Upon arrival, the staff was very unfriendly. While waiting a lengthy amount of time for another customer to check-in in front of me, I was looking around in the common area noticing trash on the floor and poor vacuuming. I was placed in a handicap room. The closet was lower, limiting me from hanging my suits to avoid wrinkling. I called the front desk to request another room, and was told they were all booked. Thus, I got settled in. The refrigerator worked for the first hour of my 2 day stay, and the AC unit was set on constant fan, yet would turn off for what seemed like forever. When climbing into bed that evening, I noticed the extra plastic placed on the mattress. It was extremely uncomfortable. Upon check out, I voiced my dissatisfaction, only to be met with a "I will let my manager know, and have her call you". No apology for my discomfort, or effort to adjust my bill or reward me in any way. I did not receive a call from anyone at the location, so I called in again to request a call from the manager. No manager or anyone from this location has reached out yet. POOR SERVICE, HIGHLY PRICED FOR QUALITY, ROOMS HAVE ISSUES, AND DON'T THINK THEY CARE ENOUGH TO ADDRESS YOUR CONCERNS OR CALL YOU BACK! IF THEY TREAT THEIR PLATINUM MEMBERS LIKE THIS, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW THEY TREAT EVERYONE ELSE! April 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Breakfast Service This is a new hotel and it seems like no one has no idea what is going on.... I had 3 rooms for myself and 2 other coworkers... One of them said the head housekeeping gave her an attitude on why she was in a room... Breakfast at 8am had no eggs or gravy.... The fitness center had no water. I even called before hand for them to fill it up and it did not happen.... I stay at IHG properties over 100 times a year and this by far is one of the worse experiences ever. April 20, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I expected I normally stay at another IHG property in the NOLA area that participates in CLC Lodging. They were fully booked and this one came up as accepting CLC Lodging rates, which were emailed to me with the confirmation. When I arrived, I was told that they no longer participated in CLC Lodging and would not honor the rate shown in the email confirmation. As it was past cancellation time, I had to pay full rate. No real problems with the property itself, but I was disappointed that they made no effort to make up for charging a rate that I was not expecting. April 15, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by East New Orleans family stay We went to New Orleans for a quick break from a hectic schedule. This location was one of the few available for a night and is in part of the city devastated by the hurricane ten years ago. Some of it is still messed up but the Holiday Inn was fabulous, quick and easy on the way to the busy city. We had a great time! Be sure to visit the World War II museum. April 15, 2015

All requests were quickly, efficiently, and cordially attended to. Clean and well appointed rooms that received the most careful attention daily. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Internet Connection As a platinum member with over 50 nights stays by Arpil of this year. I have a chance to experience plenty of different IHG properties. The location is certainly on the low end of that experience in almost every measurable category. The HVAC system was old and noisy. The comfort sleeper sofa in my suite was a joke. Breakfast choices were actually the best part of the whole stay. I could count on a ripe pear to have with my meal every morning. Worst of all and critical for my stay comfort was a very poor internet connection. To even perform a simple browser search or retrieve email was a major hassle. Forget about Facetime, Neflix or other entertainment options. After expressing concern with connection management stated nobody else has expressed concerns so there was no problem. Trust me a know good and I know bad. And this was bad. Stay in other parts of the city. April 9, 2015
