Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent staff We were treated very well! Unfortunately one person staying with us forgot their phone in the room. We quickly called as we were about to board a flight and within minutes they had gone up to the room and found the phone and made arrangements to FEDex the phone. The breakfast is probably the best quality and variety I've ever had (and I've travelled around the U.S. to many hotels). The room was a fair size although the sound insulation wasn't the best. We unfortunately had loud neighbors with kids screaming although luckily it was just during the day. I'd come back to the hotel in a heartbeat. April 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great choice when in NYC great location and a nice hotel...friendly staff, safe neighborhood right next to Madison Sq Garden...modest cost and generous room size, esp in NYC April 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location to explore NYC We stay at the Holiday Inn Express NYC Madison Garden frequently when we are visiting NYC as it is the perfect location to explore the city. Staff are helpful and friendly and rooms quite adequate. We recommend it to others. April 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Customer Service Friendly front desk, had a room ready at 12, allowed us to store our bags for free until our train departed, great breakfast, convenient location to Penn Station and theatre district! April 13, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday inn never lets you down i like the rooms and the confort, not so much the breakfast area, which is lound and very full, not so nice, though i love there is coffe all day . The area is very safe but very chaotic, April 13, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by OK Location - Great breakfast This hotel was fairly small. (But from what we hear it is quite common for new York) We were greeted well by member of staff called Terence very well. We had reached late evening and he pointed us in the right direction for food and gave us a map highlighting the areas we wanted to go to. He really spent time and seemed to value our custom. There also was another lady who I am very sorry I cannot remember her name but I know she worked morning shifts and was there Thursday 9th April - she was also very helpful in guiding us around the area. Breakfast is a great plus, lots of variety. But the dinning area is mega small! We ended up taking our breakfast to our room most mornings which became a juggling act sometimes or meant we had to make a couple of trips back and forth from our room on 3rd floor. Rooms are very small we had a king room and it didn't even fit 2 suitcases flat. I would say it was an OK hotel, if I were to visit New York again I would try find something a tad closer to where its all happening especially for the price we paid. But the location isn't too bad if you don't mind walking. Subway isn't far but is a tad confusing to use. Walking is definitely the best option around NEW YORK! Whatever you do try not to ask MIKESHA(a girl who works evening shifts) for any customer service/help. We were treated very badly by her for asking a very simple question about a taxi to the airport. What was worse she made some nasty comments behind our back thinking we had not heard her but in-fact we had. This would make me not want to visit the hotel again. I believe customer service is key! We were new to the area and we just needed a bit of help getting round - we expected all hotel staff to value our custom. But clearly not at this hotel! Depending where your room is don't count on a lay-in it was so noisy outside!!! Bin trucks, taxi horns and we are talking about 7-8am! April 13, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hôtel bien placé mais vieillissant Localisation excellente, personnel plutôt sympatique et efficace. La chambre est assez spacieuse mais mériterait une rénovation de même que l'hôtel. Petit déjeuner très moyen. Tarif correct. April 13, 2015
